Traditional Drawing (Week Five - David Hyde)

Today, we practised using bounding boxes to draw shapes.

It took a while to understand what we were doing in terms of work, mainly due to previous weeks heavily relying on perspective drawing.

Now we needed to draw our items in boxes, which had to be symmetrical, which threw off the idea of perspective. At first, I drew my boxes in perspective, but since being demonstrated the correct way to draw the boxes, I found it easier to grasp.

So the thing I struggled with most was ditching perspective to get a symmetrically accurate drawing.

But knowing the correct method for it, I from now on will make sure to draw parallel lines for my boxes going forward with activities such as these.
